Job Overview
The Category Specialist plays a key role in supporting, enhancing, and developing the company’s product presence and significance.
This position involves implementing product initiatives and policies through the company’s established system, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels, and maintaining alignment with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities:
- Listing new products and enhancing the positioning of available products in the store.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of product strategies, whether for existing or new products, to enhance awareness and engage customers.
- Ensuring the consistent application of product benefits across all internal and external communication materials
- Supporting the production and launch of marketing assets, including digital content, packaging, and promotional materials.
Market Research and Insights
- Conducting market research to analyze competing products, identify trends and opportunities, and assess strengths and weaknesses.
- Collaborating with the customer experience team to collect and interpret customer feedback to enhance product quality and positioning.
- Tracking product performance metrics, including customer perception and campaign effectiveness.
Design, Content, and Communication
- Collaborating with a graphic designer to convey the purpose and concept behind product launches or feature rebranding, ensuring the product’s vision is effectively represented through its packaging and customer-facing labels.
- Collaborating with a digital strategist to develop innovative and compelling product content for social media, websites, and advertisements.
- Writing and editing marketing copy that reflects the product’s voice and value.
- Supporting the execution of events, campaigns, and partnerships related to the product.
Collaboration and Coordination
- Working closely with the sales and influence teams to ensure product alignment with the company’s product policy.
- Coordinating cross-functional efforts to meet product goals and deadlines.
- Brainstorming and developing marketing and sales strategies for the product in collaboration with relevant departments within the company.
- Collaborating with branch managers according to their roles and responsibilities to align with the nature of the product, its development objectives, or its introduction as a new item. This includes ensuring proper placement within the available product list and optimizing its in-store presentation.
- Coordinating with digital and social media managers regarding the promotion strategy and descriptive content of the product.
- Working in accordance with the company’s quality policy and established standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3+ years of experience in marketing or a similar role.
- Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or the beauty industry is a plus.
- Understanding of product principles and consumer behavior.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and graphic design.
